Restoring Meditation

Welcome. I’m Warren Vogel. This project teaches Christians the biblical spiritual discipline of meditation: sustained, Scripture-shaped attention given to God, His Word, and His works.

You do not need a special temperament, a theology degree, or a retreat to begin. You need Scripture, a quiet corner of your life, and the willingness to show up.

Start Here

If you’re new and want to understand what Christian meditation actually is (and isn’t), start with What Is Meditation: a plain-English guide to the practice, its biblical roots, and what it looks like in real life.

If you’re wondering who’s behind this and why, the About page tells you how I got here.

If you want to see the theological ground this project stands on, What I Believe lays it out clearly.

If you’re ready to build the practice into your life, the Discipline Guides are structured journeys designed to walk you through it.

If you want weekly encouragement and a single passage to sit with, the Newsletter is a good place to begin.

And if you want to go deeper on theology, history, practice, or testimony, the Blog is where I explore these things at length.

Who This Is For

This is for Christians who want more than the thin devotional toolkit they inherited. The ones who tried to make quiet time work, drifted, and want a discipline that is unambiguously biblical. Seekers curious about what Scripture actually says about meditation: you’re welcome too. The door is open.

A Note Before You Go Further

This is a project, not a platform. I’m building it slowly, in public, as a ministry rather than a product. I am not selling you transformation. I am not optimizing your spiritual life. I am writing, teaching, and building tools to help ordinary believers draw near to Christ through a discipline the Bible commands and most of us have never been taught.

The newsletter is the best way to stay close as new work goes live. I’m glad you found your way here.
